Isn’t it because Ichigo’s reitsu(sp? honestly I’ve been watching this for how long?) is so strong that it can’t revert back to normal? Meh, or it could be because he wants to look badass…

omg i love this intro the tenth captain looks so cute also i wanted to know why ichigos sword is always in shikei i thought it was because abarai destroyed his sword the first time and he just never wanted to return it to normal but he did have a normal zanpaktou in the beggining it was just huge hitsugaya wa kawaiiii desu ^_^
