A soul can also be injured. In soul society everything is spirit form and somehow they die and get injured there.

No Once a soul is destroyed it is just that destroyed…When the quincy kill a hollow that is proof. The soul reapers send the human form of the hollow back to the soul socieity. The Quincy eliminate them

We’ll call the police, we don’t have a clown? statue.” The “clown statue” is really a killer that escaped from jail.
